There have been recent comments about difficulty contacting Tony Stevens at Alfa Stop and I am posting this following a call today. Tony knows that he is difficult to contact sometimes, as a one man band he has many demands on his time, including overseas trips to find the best bits.
For several weeks he has been moving to new business premises, which also means new phone lines, new internet connections and broadband provider etc,, etc.. This has meant that activity has been at a standstill. He has moved 23 van loads of Giulietta stuff to the new premises and it is now all under one roof which will make life much easier for him. He is also hoping to recruit an admin assistant so that his ability to respond can improve.
Tony is aware that his service is very variable but as he put it, given the choice between poor service and good quality parts or the other way round, he knows which is the better and I know which I prefer too. He is keen to improve the service part of the equation. Tony continues to develop new products and have remanufactured parts which are often unobtainable elsewhere and is fully committed to 750-101 parts so do support him. 23 van loads of Giulietta/Giulia parts is a serious commitment.
A lot of emails/phone messages have inevitably gone missing during the changes and in the move so I suggest you give him a couple of weeks to get fully sorted and then drop him a line with your requirements.
I don't want this to turn into a thread about your personal difficulties. Let's all hope he can get up and running again soon. He is a great resource and we should support him.
